        National Chainsaw Sculpting Invitational

                  September 24-26, 2010

Make no mistake about it, the main chainsaw show is in the Hackensack City Park in downtown Hackensack.

Featuring the Loghoggers, Pioneer Railsplitters

You don't want to miss the show this year - many exciting changes - Using chainsaws, items both large and small will be carved from wood and then... Again using chainsaws, rocks will be carved, mostly desk-top sized for indoor display - You have to see this! Visit the Loghoggers.

  And the rail-splitting competition  and pioneer logging games - watch professionals splilt rails from logs and then watch amateurs try their hand.

   Buck-sawing competitions, a water boil competition, a wife carry competition, tug of war and chip tossing are just some of the pioneer games.

Friday, September 24

9 a.m.-6 p.m. - Main event sculpting  10 a.m. Bag Race Compeititon - 11 a.m. Egg Relay - 1:30 p.m. - Speed Carving with all competitors at once - 4 p.m. Pro-amateur rail splitting competition; 8 p.m. Dance Hackensack American Legion  

Saturday, September 25

9 a.m.- 6 p.m. - Main event sculpting; 10 a.m. Rail Splitting; 11 a.m., Log Roll; 12, Wheelbarrow Wife Competitin; 1:30 p.m. Speed Carving with all competitors at once; 4-8 p.m. = S[paghetti dinner at Hackensack Fire Hall for Fire Department; 5 p.m. - Wood-chucker 2-man team competition; 6 p.m. Glenn Miller Dinner/Dance at Northern Lights Casino & Convention Center; 8 p.m. - Dance Hackensack American Legion

Sunday, September 26

9 a.m. - Main event sculpting; 10 a.m. Tug of War competition; 10:30 a.m. - Speed Carving all competitors; 12 Cross Cut Saw competition; 2 p.m. - Sculpture/Split Rail AUCTION; 6 p.m. Glenn Miller Dinner/Dance at Northern Lights Casino & Convention Center.
