            • Be sure to give us a call at the Hackensack Chamber if you need help in finding a place to stay while visiting our Beautiful Lakes area! 1-800-279-6932 or 218-675-6135, we look forward to hearing from you and perhaps being able to meet you when you come to visit. We have a nice children's park, swimming beach, lending library which is open Mondays through Saturdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm during the months of June, July, and August, tennis courts and horseshoe pits. The Paul Bunyan Bike Trail runs right through the edge of our park where our Visitor's Center sits.

              The Hackensack Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Hackensack Area, so that its citizens and all areas of business shall prosper. All means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civil, commercial, cultural, industrial and educational interests of the Area.

              The Chamber in conjunction with the City of Hackensack obtained a grant to build a Visitor's Center adjacent to the Paul Bunyan Trail. The Center provides informational brochures and information of other types to visitors and residents alike. Stop in for a visit and receive a free Minnesota state road map.

              The Board of Directors meets the third Thursday of every month except October at 5:30 p.m. at the Visitor's Center.

               

              Visitor Center Hours of Operation

              Summer (May through August)
              Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
               

              Winter (September through April)
              Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays  10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
