Deep Portage Learning Center, The Deep Portage Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society, and King's Shooting Sports are teaming up to make you a better shot. This class covers the basic of good wingshooting techniques. Deep Portage instructors teach a modified "Churchill" method of instinctive shooting. Both classroom and field instruction will cover topics such as safe gun handling, gun selection and gun fit, as well as techniques for proper grip, stance, pre-mount, mount and swing. Instructor-to-student ratio is 1 to 4, ensuring that all participants will receive personal attention in the classroom and in extensive practice on Deep Portage's sporting clays range.
